Privacy notice
This notice says what NewsArticles collects, in the order a visitor meets it: reading, signing up, ordering, and getting in touch.
Reading the site
Browsing needs no account. Our servers log technical details of each request, such as the page asked for, the time and the browser type, to keep the site running and to spot abuse.
We do not run advertising trackers on these pages. If that changes we will update this notice and its date first.
Cookies are limited to what keeps you signed in and the page working. Block them and the public pages still load.
What we hold once you have an account
Sign-in details
The email or Google sign-in identifier used to open your account.
Order records
Target URLs, keywords, content instructions, basket contents, payment dates and order status.
Balance and invoices
Top-ups, spend and any invoice or proforma invoice requested from the dashboard.
Messages to us
Anything you send through your account, kept so we can answer properly.
Device and usage logs
Request logs and basic usage data, kept to protect accounts and fix faults.
Why we use it
We use account data to run orders, to bill your balance, to answer questions and to prevent fraud. That is all.
We do not sell personal data. Placements are published on third-party sites, so the target URL and keyword you give us will be visible in public once the article is live. Choose them with that in mind.
Processing partners, such as hosting and payment services, handle data only to supply those functions to us.
Security matters to us. We try to limit access to order data to what running the service needs. Short and plain: we collect only what the service needs, and we do not use order details for anything else.
Keeping, correcting and removing
We keep account and order records while the account is active and for as long as we need them afterwards to handle invoices and disputes. Then we delete or anonymise them.
You can ask to see, correct or remove your data through your account page. We will say if something has to stay, such as a payment record. Some records, such as payment details, may have to stay for a while. Short answer: we will explain.
Published articles on donor sites belong to those sites. We can ask a publisher to edit one, but we cannot compel it. For related rules read the terms, or see about us for who runs the site. We cannot control their retention.
